I plan on giving birth in the hospital. I would like to avoid an epidural, but am open to one if I change my mind, maybe. I am open to using other pain techniques including nitrous oxide, but I'm, not sure about opioids and iv pain meds. I am looking to pay very little or nothing outside of insurance if I can. I am having a baby girl and would like a quiet, fun, peaceful birth with lots of encouragement. I don't mind some medical intervention, but a lot I would like to avoid unless absolutely necessary.

I need help getting my baby to latch onto my breast to feed, she will latch occasionally but only when she’s sleepy or doesn’t realize it’s the breast. She is 3 months old and I’m hoping it’s not too late to have her latch.. I am currently pumping but I would really like help getting my baby to exclusively breastfeed. Any help is appreciated! I have Humana insurance. It is a Medicaid provider but am willing to pay out of pocket in order to reach my goals. Thank you!!

post caesarian section on 1/14; wanting to breast feed; mum in lots of pain

I really need your advice. I have a big crack on my nipple and I literally can’t breastfeed anymore. The pain is unbearable, even after feeding. I tried pumping with my Portable Medela Maxi but only on one side, and barely any milk comes out even after sitting for more than 30 minutes. I’ve been crying every day from exhaustion and pain. I’m barely sleeping and I feel like I’m about to give up and switch to formula.

Hello, my name is McKayla Bostick, I am currently switching insurances and I’ll be covered by SoonerCare. I am planing on focus birth at St. Francis Medical Hospital. I have heard about Doulas accepting Humana SelectCare and was wanting to stay within a chart that would cover that. I would love to get prices and fees if not covered by that insurance. I am wanting to go natural without any medication, Pain traversing that may push labor faster. I am still wanting to figure out more what exactly will be the detailed specifics because I do still have 4ish more months.

My baby needs urgent help!! She clicks on every nipple (we’ve tried them all literally) , causes severe reflux and gas. She’s been hospitalized because they thought she had ilues due to how much trapped gas she had.
