I also struggle with anxiety, particularly during the labor process, and really would like help with that. I plan to give birth at Cedar signing Hospital in West LA. My OB his Dr Keren Lerner. I am insured through anthem Blue Cross, and my husband is a subscriber. My name is Ziba Hashmy, DOB 4/4/93 His name is Mohammad Shahshahan, DOB 7/25/89 Member ID: JQU688W01372 Group No.: 433060
Hoag hospital- Irvine. Looking for doula care covered by Carefirst Blue Shield. I am covered at 100% for 12 visits.
I'm looking for a birth doula who can operate from a hospital. Ideally if they are registered with Los Robles hospital that would be amazing as I could cover it with insurance. Otherwise I will have to pay out of pocket and while I want support, birth is expensive. I want someone to be three throughout the birth and coach me through it as this is my first baby and I'm trying to do a natural birth in the hospital. I have an amazing midwife who operates out of Los Robles so we'll be doing that there. My ideal midwife would be spiritual - have sound bowls or suggestions for good music, sounds, breathing techniques, positions and natural herbs, oils and yoni steams to help bring a baby into this world in the most natural way possible given the circumstances.
I know there’s not a lot of options up here in the high desert. I’d really love the support of a doula during labor while in the hospital. I’m not ready for a full at-home birth experience.
We are preferring an in home birth, not sure on a budget yet, someone to help with a safe and smooth delivery and education for a first time mom
Give birth in hospital A low budget Don't have a birth plan
Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. My insurance is Aetna Choice POS II, and my ID number is W2834 19281.
I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!
I want a compassionate doula who has experience with birthing
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I do not have a budget specified for this—not sure what the cost range is. Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible. I am looking for an experienced certified doula who has experience with Black birthing people. I am 42 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am high risk for pre-clampsia.
I’m currently in my second trimester expecting a baby girl and would love to connect with a supportive doula of color who can advocate for me during labor and help guide me through postpartum and lactation. As a medical assistant student working in healthcare, I value education, culturally aware care, and bringing calm, positive energy into my birth experience.
I will give birth in the hospital. Budget varies depending on which service. Birth plan is tbd
Santa Monica, medical healthnet accepted Muslim doulas
Hi, I am looking for an in-network doula who takes Anthem coverage for my EDD of Aug 31, 2026. This is my first pregnancy, and I would need both birth and post-partum support. Thank you
Hi Mitzy, I just had my daughter via C-section on Friday morning and I am really struggling. She is already cluster feeding and hates her bassinet. I have gotten about three hours of sleep total in the last three days and I fell like I’m going to lose my mind. Any chance your available for nights this week?
Planning a hospital birth Birth plan is as holistic as possible while being safe for myself and baby
Where do you plan to give birth? I'll be giving birth at Cedar's Sinai in the Los Angeles area. Estimated budget between $1,500-$3,500 for birth support depending on experience and package inclusions. Describe your birth plan I'm aiming for a natural, vaginal birth and want to avoid a C-section unless it becomes medically necessary. I'm open to an epidural or other pain management options to make labor as smooth and manageable as possible, but my priority is a supported vaginal delivery with strong advocacy throughout. Requirements for the provider I'm comfortable working with a doula who speaks English, though Spanish fluency is a plus. Most importantly, I need someone who will actively advocate for me at the hospital and help me navigate decisions in real time to achieve the best possible outcome. I'd prefer a certified doula with meaningful hands-on labor support experience. Details about care recipients This will be my first baby, due in July. No special needs or complications currently anticipated. Additional duties Beyond labor support, I'd love guidance and education around lactation and breastfeeding. I know it can be a challenging journey and want to feel informed, prepared, and supported through it from the start
I am looking to have a home birth. This is my first full term pregnancy so i’m looking on guidance on how to prepare myself. I would like to see if there are any payment plan options. It is only my husband who works so we are looking for flexibility. I want an unmedicated birth and have been wanting to be in the comfort of my own home. After experiencing miscarriage, being in a hospital setting is not something i really want.
I will be delivering at Pomona Valley, likely in December, possibly early January. I am insured by IEHP Direct through Medi-Cal. I want as natural birth as possible in the sense that I only want medical intervention if it is absolutely necessary (no induction, no episiotomy etc). I am going in expecting to need an epidural but am also open to the idea of being unmedicated. I am looking for someone to assist with pain management and advocacy while in labor and for education in early/postpartum care for my baby (tips/tricks/lactation/mama stomach wrapping). I would like someone with no less than 3 years of experience and is possibly able to assist with postpartum care at home.
