Trouble latching baby has tongue tie interested in tongue tie release

Cole was born at 34 weeks. Was in the nicu for 18 days. Has a decent latch (mostly with shield) and was able to transfer milk in nicu with weighted feeds. Currently latching 2-3 times a day and supplementing with bottle after feeds. Concerned with striking balance of exclusively nursing and nursing/supplementing feed and when he is able to make the transition.

I am planning to give birth at Alma Hospital and am currently looking for a supportive, knowledgeable doula to assist me through labor and delivery. My birth plan is simple and focused on having a safe, healthy delivery for both myself and my baby. I am open to guidance, education, and support throughout the process, especially in managing pain, understanding my options, and advocating for my needs during labor. I am hoping to work with a doula who is certified and experienced in hospital births. Experience with first-time or low-intervention births is a plus. A calm, supportive, and reassuring presence is very important to me. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff are also key. There are no special requirements in terms of additional duties such as cooking, cleaning, or postpartum household support. My primary focus is labor and delivery support, along with breastfeeding and latching support. The care recipient is myself and my newborn. There are no known special needs at this time. I am planning to decide on feeding breastfeeding and bottle feeding and would appreciate a doula who can provide guidance or resources if needed. My budget is based on what my insurance will cover. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and I would like assistance understanding what services may be eligible for coverage or reimbursement. Overall, I am looking for someone who will help me feel confident, supported, and informed during one of the most important experiences of my life.

Help with my newborns latch. I use a shield because after 4 days of good latch he stopped latching im assuming bc I was engorged and I have large breasts

Looking for tips and help with breastfeeding as a first time mom. My baby latched great at the hospital and now that we are home she will scream anytime I offer my boob to her. She takes a bottle great and I have been pumping about 2 oz total every 3 hours and feeding it to her. She is 4 days old now. I plan to combo feed but would like to breastfeed while I am home and not working.

Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York Unsure of budget I’d like to go as natural as possible, but will use epidural if my body is in need of it to relax

My daughter is almost 11 weeks old. She is exclusively breastfed. She refuses to take a bottle from anyone other than me and sometimes her dad. I go back to work in January so she needs to be able to take a bottle from my mom and his mom who watch her.

Help with nursing my one month old. I’m not sure if I need to change my diet or his latch isn’t quite right. But he seems rather gassy and uncomfortable plus he’s feeding like every hour or less, and I have a one and a half year-old. So that’s rather inconvenient.

Baby seems to have difficulty getting a deep latch and transferring milk. He tends to get frustrated whenever latching and will barely suck.
