Need help with breastfeeding baby. Having hard time latching

Latch and tongue tie consultation. My infant(3months old on the 14th of February) has a tongue tie we’ve never had latching issues or painf fo either of us - she has been exclusively breastfed since birth. That is until a week ago, she started at daycare so I’ve started to introduce bottles, she struggles a little bit. Clearly it’s a learning process, she prefers my nipples. Since I’m pumping and nursing now, my nipples are raw and feel like they a burning and being ripped. She look as bad as they feel. I was wondering if introducing a bottle could have challenged her latch with her tongue tie and if it would be helpful to have her tongue tie snipped. Be both have Molina insurance so I’m hoping to find help with little to no copay - we are low income and looking for working, currently have no job.

I want to give birth in a birthing center closer to family if my insurance allows, or if needed In a hospital. I’m low income so I will have to find a way to cover costs but knowledge is definitely priceless. Hi there, I live in Abbotsford and I’m interested in hiring a postpartum doula (night time) to help with the first few wks of baby care. I plan on giving birth at the regional hospital, and will try to keep things as natural as possible.

I plan to give birth at Ridge Meadows Hospital. There is a possibility of going to another hospital should Ridge Meadows be on a divergent schedle the day I go into labour. Once I am cleared from the hospital my husband and I will be staying with my parents in North Delta for approximately 40 days. Once this time period is complete we will be back in our home in Maple Ridge. This is my husband and I's first baby and we have hope that being with my parents will be helpful, but we would also appreciate the support of people who have specialized knowledge and perspectives other than our own. I am not certain of the cost of these support systems or how charges are done, but would appreciate if there is someone who may be able to submit to extended health particularly through Great West / Canada Life. My birth plan, at its basics is, Natural, vaginal, unmediated aside from laughing gas. I intend to take it slow and easy and allow my body to guide me as I go through labour and child birth. I am hopeful of a good outcome.

My wife is lactating, but she has inverted nipples and our baby seems too lazy to suck on them. He falls asleep before he puts any meaningful effort.

I have a family maternity doctor, and I am planning to give birth in the hospital. However, I just found out that I may have coverage for a birthing coach and a lactation consultant that I believe could be helpful during and/or after birth! My budget is $1000 for a birthing coach, and a lactation consultant for $125 per hour, for up to 2 hours.
