I am very wellness oriented - I am a strength and conditioning coach, very active, eat clean, and spiritual, and want to avoid unnecessary interventions like induction, epidural, pitocin, etc provided I have no risk factors at that stage in pregnancy. Ideal estimated budget of ~$1000-2500.

We plan to give birth at Duke hospital in Durham. We do not have a set budget. This will be our fourth child. Our midwife retired the end of July and this pregnancy is high risk. A fan to keep me cool * I prefer to use the "J-breath" and push instinctively rather than being told when to hold my breath. * Please protect my perineum with warm compresses and coached, slow crowning. I really want no tearing 3. IN THE EVENT OF A MEDICAL C-SECTION If a cesarean section becomes completely necessary for the safety of myself or my baby, I request a Gentle Cesarean: * A clear drape so I can see my baby being born. * My hands left free to hold my baby immediately. * Immediate skin-to-skin contact in the operating room. * Delayed cord clamping if possible. 4. NEWBORN CARE * Immediate skin-to-skin contact for at least the first hour (the "Golden Hour"). * All newborn exams and weight checks performed while the baby is on my chest or delayed until after the first breastfeeding attempt.

Hello I’m looking for a doula that will help me labor as much as possible at home before going to the hospital. If I can deliver at home I would like that. I would like my doula to advocate for me while in the hospital or home. I would love if they could help my partner be able to help with hip squeeze and position changes. I require them to be certified for at least two year and be somewhere near the Cumberland County area in North Carolina. Thank you

-I would like to explore my options of giving birth at home. -I live in fayetteville, NC. -This is my first baby. -I am 32 years old. - I have Tricare insurance and would like to be able to use it however, it is not my only option. -This being my first baby, I am still figuring things out but I would like to experience a low-intervention birth, vaginal birth, and no induction. - For pain management I am open to movement/walking during labor, yoga ball, breathing/ relaxation techniques, and position changes. I am not sure about interventions --I'd like more information on this. -For emotional support, I am looking for calmness, minimal coaching, and someone to advocate for me - Once baby arrives I want immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, keeping baby with me or dad at all times, and no vaccines.
