I live in Hollister, but I will be giving birth at Kaiser in San Jose, CA, and I’m looking for a supportive, trauma-informed doula for both birth and postpartum care. I would love someone familiar Latina postpartum traditions (preferred), such as rebozo support, gentle bone closing/cerrada de cadera, emotional support, and holistic healing practices, and lacataion support. I’m hoping for someone warm, calming, and nonjudgmental who can support both me and my partner through labor, recovery, breastfeeding, and postpartum mental health. I’m especially interested in postpartum support that helps me feel grounded, safe, and cared for after birth. I have Kaiser and would prefer someone in-network.

Hello, My name is Adèle and I’m currently expecting my first child, due August 23. My partner, Lucas, and I live in the Mission in San Francisco and are currently looking for a doula to support us during birth and postpartum period. We are planning a hospital birth through Kaiser at the Redwood City Birth Center, and ideally are looking someone in-network with Kaiser and able to accept Carrot benefits. A little about us: we’re a French/German-American couple in our 30s, and this is our first baby. I tend to be thoughtful and preparation-oriented, and I’m looking for someone calm, grounded, emotionally attuned, and experienced supporting first-time parents. My hope is for a supportive and relatively low-intervention birth experience if medically appropriate, while staying flexible and pragmatic (not too attached to anything). I would love someone who can help us feel informed, supported, and steady throughout labor and the early postpartum transition. Overnight doula services for new born care (8 hours overnight)

We are having twins in August and looking for post partum support overnight 4 nights a week.

I’m looking for an overnight postpartum doula for newborn care. I mainly need someone to care for my baby at night so I can rest. Duties would include bottle feeding or bringing the baby to me for nursing, burping, changing diapers, soothing, and putting the baby back to sleep. I would also appreciate light baby-related help, such as washing bottles/pump parts, keeping a simple overnight log of feeds and diapers, and having a small snack available during the shift. I prefer simple, generic snacks—nothing special or dietary-specific. Language: English Budge: $60-$70/Hr - Looking for 3 nights (M,W,F) a week until 9/21/2026. Insurance: Carrot

We are still determining the exact level of support we are looking for. We plan to give birth in a hospital in San Francisco. Our primary search is for post-birth overnight support, which would include support for the mom and care for the baby, including feeding, settling, changing, and any associated cleaning. It is important to us to get detailed updates on how the baby did overnight. We want to make sure that the person providing the support fits well into our home. We would expect we need this support 4-5 nights per week for 10-16 weeks, and would seek to get support on sleep conditioning over that period of time. We are also evaluating if a birth doula is something that we want but have not yet decided on that.
