Hospital, trying to have a natural birth without an epidural for my second baby

I want a doula that is well educated in birth delivery and can be present to make sure everything in my birth plan is followed while I'm in labor! Beforehand I would like a doula that can tell me the changes in my body in my third trimester, and what actions I need to take to make birth easier to cope with! Somebody that knows the exercises that matter, and how and what I need to do to have a successful NATURAL birth! My birth is supposed to take place in Waco at Baylor Scott and White-Hillcrest but I live in Temple, Tx!

I plan to give birth in a birthing center or hospital. All natural if possible given in not high risk. I’ve experienced loss before. I have short 24-26 day cycles so I’m curious if I need progesterone?

This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.

I plan to give birth at UMC Hospital. I hope i can find a doula that is either covered by pregnancy medicaid or Walmart BCBS. I want to go for an all natural birth as much as possible and get tips about what I can do to prepare for it. I dont have a full birth plan but I want to give birth on all fours and with no pitocin. This is also my first child and I accept that I might want the epidural but i will decide when the day comes and what my pain level is. I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I am diabetic so I don’t have much options as to where I give birth. I want to go unmedicated and am a huge believer in going natural with minimum medical intervention unless absolutely necessary. I don’t have a currently estimate this is my first birth so I don’t know what numbers I’m looking at but am open to whatever as long as I’m getting the knowledge and care I can get. My birth plan is ofc very peaceful music (religious preferably but also non religious music) in the background with minimum lighting or some galaxy lighting to help distract my brain, minimum medical intervention and just lots of support🥺

I am giving birth at UC Memorial North in Colorado Springs. I am looking for someone who will advocate for me in my goals to not be induced (unless medically necessary) and to give birth unmedicated. No birth photography please—it makes me uncomfortable. This is my first child so I would love to take some classes in pain management with my husband, if possible. We are due May 28, 2026.
