I plan to give birth in a hospital with minimal interventions. No epidural, giving birth in whatever position feels right, and being able to eat and drink water. Budget unsure, but preferably $5000 or less.

I'm a first time mom expecting twins! I want as much education as I can get and extra support during delivery. I plan on delivering at the Mountain West Medical Women's Care Center in Tooele, UT and would really like a tub birth. I feel that having a doula who is specialized and equiped with the knowledge of birth and delivery would help both my partner and I be more confident in the delivery room. I would like to have that extra support that would know how to help or calm me down if my partner gets overwhelmed with everything, as it is our first pregnancy! Not sure specifically on a budget as I don't know estimated costs and don't make a whole lot of money. I have a generalized birth plan written out, but I'm not sure if I'm missing any key details or not.

I prefer to move around freely during labor and try different pushing positions. I do not want coached or forced pushing and would like to follow my body’s natural urges. I would also like to eat and drink freely during labor. Medical Preferences: I prefer limited cervical checks and would like to avoid an epidural unless it becomes medically necessary. Delivery & Immediately After Birth: I would like delayed cord clamping until the cord turns white. I want immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth. Newborn Care: I prefer that the baby is gently wiped off instead of bathed right away, and I do not want a bath during the hospital stay. I do not want the Hep B vaccine given at birth. Feeding & Bonding: I plan to breastfeed and would like support with breastfeeding. I prefer that my baby stays in the room with me at all times (no nursery). Support People: I would like my husband and my mother present for support. I would like my husband to cut the umbilical cord

And then any follow up questions I have after birth. My midwives are an all natural service so no pain meds, just the tub or bed.

Hospital birth. Doesn't have an idea how much is a doula service. My husband will be away from the moment I gave birth until November so it'll be me, my mom and my sister who will take care of the baby. Thinking of an additional help when it comes to all baby needs on the first couple months
