Hi, I'm Rachael Zamora. I am a birth and postpartum doula and Integrative Lactation and Feeding Specialist (ILFS) located in Winnemucca, Nevada. I spent a decade as a metallurgist in gold mining before I found my passion of helping new families get the non-judgmental support they deserve in birth, postpartum, and infant feeding. Whether it's information, emotional support, and/or physical support, my goal is to help the transition to new parenthood easier. My own two children and my experiences with them inspire me in this work.

Postpartum doula services: my focus is on the postpartum person and what they need after baby has arrived. Sometimes that means taking care of baby so they can rest, shower, or eat, and sometimes that means taking care of light household tasks so they can snuggle with baby and let their body heal from birth. I'm also there to be a listening ear for new parents to talk about their birth or the difficulty of taking care of a new human. Lactation and feeding: I take an individualized approach to helping families find the best way to feed their new baby, whether it's breastfeeding, formula feeding, or both.
