It is in highest regards that I recommend Rebecca. She helped us feel educated, well practiced, and prepared to have the most comfortable and natural hospital birth possible. She was there with us through every part of the labor. Her experience with breathing techniques, birthing positions, and putting pressure when needed helped me to feel cared for and my husband to feel empowered and a part. She made our birth process a team effort in the most beautiful ways. I appreciated her bringing tools I wouldn’t have thought of to the birth, my favorite being the birth comb. Her subtle reminders to change position or just to read my needs without me asking were such a blessing. Our birth ended differently & much longer than we had planned, but every moment was so worth it to meet our precious baby, grateful to have had Rebecca there through it all. She advocated for us and helped us make the best decisions each steps and we are forever grateful. A doula is a must; and a great doula, aka Rebecca, is the best choice you’ll make.

Rebecca was my doula for my first pregnancy. I had a hospital birth for my baby girl and went 100% natural. Rebecca’s techniques helped me get through every contraction without having to think about the next one. She helped my husband be prepared for my birth and was even there to stand up to doctors if they tried to get me to do anything I didn’t want to. She was there if I had any questions during OR after my pregnancy. Rebecca was perfect for me because you can decide how involved you want to be. I was provided with opportunities to go to birthing classes and so much information on natural and medicated births. She never pushed me to do anything I didn’t want to do and she was supportive of whatever I chose to do 100%. Having a doula is one of the best decisions I made and recommend her to anyone who is thinking about a natural birth, or even has trouble speaking up for themselves in medical situations. Rebecca is your girl!

So my birth story is one for the books. My pregnancy had been very stressful. My husband was very sick in and out of the hospital since March. He was then admitted on the 10th of June. We found out he was not going to get out until he had another double lung transplant. Through out all of this I was open to her about us having to move to Durham. She said she does not really go out to Durham and set me up with another doula. Unfortunately that doula did not workout and I was open to her about this. She said I can’t make any promises because she was 2 hours away. I had started having contractions on Thursday and just kept going about my day I let her know what was going on. She told me to let her know when the contractions were getting harder. Well my husband come home from the hospital on that Saturday after being in the hospital for 2 and a half months. On that Tuesday i messaged her letting her know that the contractions were starting to be consistent and harder. She told me to head up to the hospital and that she would come up to me. I checked into the hospital at about 10pm on Tuesday. She was at the hospital around 12-1230 and stayed with me till my little one was born at 1:34 pm on that Wednesday. She made sure I kept moving, advocated for me, kept me hydrated, and used all of her tools and knowledge to keep me calm and to help me through the experience. She was absolutely amazing and with how stressful my pregnancy was to have her there to help me through the birthing process was so calming. I am not sure but maybe she can expand her area to Durham. 💚

I can't thank Rebecca enough for her services before, during, and after my birth. She went above and beyond during my labor and helped advocate for me when I needed it!

An amazing doula. She goes into detail about the beginning to the end of childbirth and even gives presentations and demonstrations to help her clients understand even better. She helped my partner learn how to also care for me while I was in labor by showing him different techniques to help reduce my pain. With her as my doula, I was able to give birth in a very calm manner while practicing meditation techniques to help safely delivery my baby.

I really enjoyed working with Rebecca. She became like part of the family which in this intimate situation is really important. My husband couldn't attend our sons birth so she stood in and did amazing. She's compassionate and knowledgeable. She went through something traumatic with me because my birth wasn't typical by any means. I'm greatful for her for sure 10 stars

I don't know what I would have done without Rebecca for my home birth! She has so much knowledge that made me feel comfortable in her expertise. She had a bag of tools for pain management. That was my biggest concern for birth. She arrived promptly after I called saying it's time soon. Her presence overall was soothing. For every contraction she applied counter pressure with a heating pad while also squeezing my sides. That's really what got me through. I highly recommend her!

Rebecca was amazing! She made sure our daughter was comfortable with her before the birth of our youngest. She also dropped everything in a minute (literally) as I didn’t realize I was already in Transition stage ! She also stayed and helped us pack our car up and make sure we were comfortable before leaving.

Honestly she was amazing she definitely was everything plus more. I was kind of skeptical about her being there because we really didn't get a chance to meet considering I decided a doula extremely late in pregnancy. Like due date late. Otherwise than that if I decided to have another I would love to have her again. I felt to comfortable and she calmed a lot of me fears.

I absolutely loved having rebecca as my doula! She was so helpful and gave me many tips that improved my birth experience. I was so nervous at first when figuring out where to start to make my labor as easy as possible. She gave me reassurance and great ideas to help my labor go smoothly as possible!
