Need help setting a birth plan. I am a first time mom. Giving birth in Northridge

First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.

I am giving birth at St. Joseph in Burbank, CA. I want to use in-network benefits. I want to give birth vaginally and unmedicated if possible. I want someone who is Mexican and/or Black and Christian. English-speaking and has at least 2 years of experience. I am a 28-year-old woman with a Factor V Leiden mutation. First baby, planning a hospital birth at Los Robles in Thousand Oaks. Hoping for an unmedicated, low-intervention birth with freedom to move, a water tub if available, and my husband as my primary support person (hoping he gets to catch the baby). Open to nitrous oxide, but want to avoid the Epidural as well as Pitocin unless medically necessary. After birth I'd like delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin, and a hands-off approach to the placenta unless intervention's needed. I'd also love postpartum support to help us through early recovery and newborn care. Budget: covered under Gold Coast Health Plan (Medi-Cal), so looking for providers who accept that coverage.

Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at Hoag Hospital Irvine for my first pregnancy. Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).
