Excited for this journey! I am giving birth at Kaiser Redwood City. Ideally I am looking for those who have worked with Kaiser insurance as I have doula coverage (I was referred to Kristin Guess). Birthplan is quite standard: prioritize non medical interventions, epidural, no IV pain meds, skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, preemptive nausea control, dim lights, breast feeding, delayed bath. Likely circumcision care. Requirements of provider: Certified, evidence based guidance (though not in OBGYN, my husband and I work in healthcare). I plan to hire a post partum nanny for the first 2 months following birth, however, would love additional support as an additional perspective. Also month 3 would be great for additional support (sleep training, lactation consulting, etc). Budget is flexible but would like to prioritize Kaiser Doula coverage first.

Having twins and looking for night support to help get them on a sleeping schedule

I'm looking for night doula 3 days per week for my first 2 weeks, and 1 - 2 nights per week for the following 3-5 weeks. I'm also looking for day time doula 2 - 3 times a week for the first 2 weeks. My wife and I are looking for a doula to periodically look after our newborn during the day if one or both of us need to go somewhere. So it’ll be as needed for now, but in a few months, if desired, it could become more regular (when I go back to work). Location is Bernal Heights in San Francisco. Our son was born on April 28, about five weeks early. He’s now at 40 weeks, and is healthy and doing great. The nurses at UCSF said he’s the cutest/best baby.
