About me

Hi, I’m Regina — a birth photographer, certified birth doula, lactation counselor, and childbirth educator based in western North Dakota. I’ve spent the last 12+ years supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and those hazy early postpartum days, and I’ve had the honor of attending more than 200 births along the way. I’m deeply passionate about physiological birth, informed choice, and helping parents trust their bodies and instincts—especially in moments that feel intense, vulnerable, or overwhelming. My background in hands-on birth support and lactation care shapes everything I do, whether I’m documenting a birth or walking alongside families as they prepare for baby. At the heart of my work is bearing witness—to strength, tenderness, and the very real, very human way families come into being. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at home with my husband and four kids, tending to a good book, sourdough, garden, or any number of granny hobbies.

Regina is an amazing photographer and artist! She has taken photos of my family and branding photos for my business. They always turn out beautiful. I would not hesitate in recommending her to a friend for photography needs.

Regina helped make the birth of our son so special. She is so sweet, and, I loved that my husband didn’t have to go around getting all the pictures I wanted. The pictures are beautiful that she was able to capture. If your on the fence about hiring her, just take the plunge and do it!

Besides being a delightful person, Regina is easy to work with. She is professional and makes you feel comfortable while being photographed. She had helpful advice as to what to wear for my business branding photo shoot. I definitely recommend her! And her birth photography is so stunning that I joke that I will have to have another baby just so she can photograph it!

Regina is the most comforting genuine presence and her artistic eye in the birth space is unmatched. She truly is a calm in the storm when it comes to birth. You won’t regret having such a powerhouse of knowledge and experience as a part of your birth team.

Love working with Regina! We hired her for my homebirth as a photographer and a previous hospital birth as a doula where she took a few photos. Her photographs are so wonderful to look back on. She does an exceptional job at capturing the emotion of the candid shots with her moody birth photos. 10/10 recommend!

We have hired Regina on several occasions, for both a birth doula and photographer. We are so thankful to have had her document such precious moments in our life.

We hired Regina for a "Welcome Home" photo session when our daughter was born. She came to our home when my girl was just 2 days old and captured some beautiful memories of my older kids meeting their sister for the first time! 🥰 She got everything from overwhelmed tears to goofy smiles and laughs. She also visited with me about the birth and offered lactation counseling. It was a great experience! We're looking forward to another session this summer.
