Juli is fully supportive and embraces all families of every shape, size, color, creed, background, belief, sexual or gender identity. You will find love and caring at Open Heart Midwifery. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.

Hey! I am Violet. I was born and raised in Humboldt County CA. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 22, over 10 years ago! I originally worked in the lighting entertainment industry but made a transition to become a doula. Lights are cool and pretty and exciting! But being a doula is fulfilling. Helping families grow and adjust to this new normal is something I am passionate about. I provide non-judgmental and honest care and information during one of your families most vulnerable times. I will not judge your parenting or birth style or choices. I will never lie to you. I am here to help. My mission is to empower new parents as they transition into parenthood. When I am done providing my services my goal is to walk away with you feeling confident, relaxed, happy with your birth, and ready to take on this new life called parenthood!
