I do not have a provider that I regularly see, and I am interested in establishing care with a midwife. I would love to plan for a home birth. I experience significant anxiety, and I know that being in my home environment would provide the calm and sense of safety I need for both myself and my baby to support a positive birth experience. I am also interested in the option of laboring and or birthing in water. (want natural birth) We do have a deep bathtub at home, but I am also open to using a birthing pool if recommended. For my first appointment, I am also in need of a Pap smear and breast exam. Hi! My name is Chanley and I’m currently pregnant with my first baby. My husband will be on deployment around the time the baby is supposed to be born. So I’m navigating a lot of this on my own. My family does support me, but they live a couple hours away, so they can’t always be here in person. I’m really looking for a doula who could provide some guidance, support, and reassurance through the rest of my pregnancy and during birth. Since this is my first baby, having someone experienced to help me understand what to expect and advocate for me would mean a lot. I also have TRICARE Prime, so I’m hoping to find someone familiar with that if possible. I’d love to talk more and see if we might be a good fit. Thank you!
