I do want to give birth in a hospital. I am diabetic and newly diagnosed with HTN, but I wanna go natural. My mom went natural with me but ended up opting for an epidural with my brother because of her blood pressure. Both my brother and I were 9+ pounds, and with my comorbidities, I know I may have a chunky little monkey <3, but I still want to try natural to start. I was looking to stay around $1500. My birth plan is simply to keep my pressures stable and have a healthy baby. If no meconium, I do want to encapsulate my placenta, and I will sign the form to keep it because, as a L&D nurse, I know they will want to keep it because of my comorbidities. If the diabetes and HTN were gestational, I probably would have let them keep it, but since it's chronic, nothing new will be learned about my future pregnancies from the placenta. Plan to give birth at Baptist South hospital in Jacksonville Fl. I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes but have managed my glucose levels with diet and exercise. My numbers are great so I don’t have to take in medicine or insulin for this. I want as close to a natural birth as I can get. I want to use hypnobirthing techniques throughout my labor as well as little to no interventions unless of an emergency. My current doctor is saying I have to schedule an induction at 39 weeks and I need help navigating what is 100% necessary versus a recommendation as I am a first time mom. I am willing to be adaptable when it comes to my birth plan but don’t want to be scared into unnecessary interventions.

I plan to give birth at Baptist clay hospital in Fleming Island. I will be 39 years old when I deliver. This will be my second birth and I have a mild cord insertion. My first child was born at a birthing center with a natural vaginal birth. I'm hoping to have a natural vaginal birth this second time as well. Looking to spend under $2,000 and really only interested in help on delivery day as well as photography at delivery. My birth plan as mentioned above is a natural vaginal birth, I'm not looking to be induced or have pain medication. I'd like to do skin to skin immediately after birth and delayed cord clamping. In addition, I would like my baby to receive all of the standard childhood vaccinations such as vitamin k, eye ointment and Hep b. I have no other high-risk symptoms other than my age and the mild cord insertion. All of my other vitals have been great. And just for history, my first birth was at age 36.

With a medical condition I think I do plan to get the epidural at some point. I do want delayed cord clamping, no eyedrops, and minimal interventions. I want my provider to be certified and have experience helping first time moms that do not deal with pain well. I am 25 and possible have POTS or Vasovagal syncopy.
