Hello! This is my first baby. My husband and I are planning for a hospital birth at Huntington Health in Pasadena, CA ([personal details hidden]). I am looking for a doula who can support us with learning various strategies before birth (e.g., counter pressure, pain management, stretching/mobility movements) and potentially help with lactation after birth as well. I have not decided if I want to try for an unmedicated birth or not, so would appreciate someone who is versed on both options. We are looking for a doula who can help advocate for us within the hospital/during L&D and make sure my partner is included every step of the way. My insurance covers doula services, but I will need to submit your information/PI number to them prior (they told me there is a 99% chance a doula of my choice will be approved).

Hi! I'm looking for someone who offers in-home sleep training support for my almost 6-month-old baby boy. I'm looking for someone who can come to our home for approximately 3–4 hours in the evening, ideally from 6 PM to 9 or 10 PM, for about one week. My main goal is to help my baby learn to fall asleep independently in his crib, ideally around 7 PM, without needing to nurse to sleep or be rocked. He is currently very dependent on breastfeeding to fall asleep, and bedtime has become quite challenging. He often cries a lot when I try to put him down without nursing. I believe having a third person present during this transition could really help, especially because he can smell my milk and naturally associates me with nursing. I would continue handling nighttime feedings myself after you leave. Ideally, I'd like to work together for the first 5–7 evenings, then evaluate his progress and see whether additional support is needed. A few questions: - Do you offer this type of limited evening support rather than full overnight care? - Are you experienced with gentle sleep training for breastfed babies? - Do you work directly with the baby during the bedtime transition? - What would your hourly rate and minimum booking requirement be? Thank you! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Budget is zero dollars, home or hospital birth, help with cleaning
