I am now going to be a mom of 2 under 2 and worried about another possible c section but require/request help afterwards regardless with my son and the baby. I'm doing a home birth. We financially don't have a hard budget. I'd like a home birth that is peaceful (although intense) and to give birth in a water. I'd like my partner to be there with my care team and no one else. I'd like a certified doula, years of experience doesn't matter too much to me rather just someone I'm comfortable around in that intimate space. I speak English only. Would ideally want the doula to help for the first part of labor where we're waiting to get get to full dilation and then post partum for any help with care for my body and potentially a meal or do that can brought or made so my husband and I don't need to worry about that.
