Hi, I'm Samantha Avramovic. I'm a Certified Lactation Support Provider (CLSP) credentialed through GOLD Lactation Academy, and I'm passionate about supporting families through one of the most tender and sometimes challenging chapters of their lives. I'm a mom of three rambunctious kids and former nurslings. I know how beautiful and fulfilling nursing can be, and I also know it can be overwhelming to find help that meets you where you are. I come to you — in your home, on your terms. I believe that good lactation support should feel like a knowledgeable friend sitting beside you on the couch, not a trial that adds more stress to an already full plate. I work with all kinds of families. Whether you're a first-time parent anxious to get it right, someone who had a hard time last time and wants more support, or a parent returning to work and trying to figure out pumping — I'm here for you, without judgment, always.

The Heartroot Circle - Lactation Class

Learn more about the importance of feeding human milk, common issues and misconceptions, and practice hands-on skills. Up to 5 support people are encouraged to attend, so partners, grandparents, siblings, or friends can all provide the best possible support to the nursing mother. Approximately 2 hours, in the comfort of your home.

Parent-only Consultation

This appointment is intended for consultations with the birthing parent and single support person. Prenatally - Go over goals, preparing to breastfeeding, hand expression and harvesting colostrum Bereavement - We can discuss expressing to donate and ceasing lactation.

$85 USD · Per hour

Initial Parent-Child Consultation

Receive caring support in your home. I will help with latching issues, positioning, and supply questions. I will also provide information about how to tell if baby is hungry and if they are getting enough milk. I can help with bottle feeding and pumping questions. If needed, I will refer you to more specialized help. Initial consultations are up to 1.5 hours.

$130 USD · Flat rate

What to expect

I offer in-home lactation support, where I can help with reading baby's cues, finding comfortable latch and positioning, and looking for signs baby is getting milk. I also provide breast pump flange fittings, so you can try all the shapes and sizes you need to get the best feel and output, without wasting money on all the parts. I provide in-home lactation classes for you and all your support people. My classes are intended to get your whole team on board and supporting you in the most helpful ways. Do you offer discounts for multiple sessions?

Yes! I offer discounts when you purchase or gift 2 sessions, look for my Postpartum Pair package on my website. I also offer a package which include my prenatal class and a postpartum session.

Why do I need a flange fittings? What is it?

Most pumps ship with only 1 or 2 sizes of flange, but we all know every body is different. Nipples are no exception. A poorly fitting flange causes discomfort, nipple damage, and poor milk output. Pumping is already more work than nursing, it shouldn't hurt too. During a flange fitting, I will measure your nipple to find an approximate size range. Then, you will pump while trying on multiple sizes and shapes of flanges until we find a fit that feels good and aids good milk flow. It's common for the breasts to need different flanges.
