Looking for Prenatal support during labor and delivery

I am planning to birth at home. We have a midwife. We’re hoping that my insurance will cover the doula. I know I want to reduce possibility of tearing, so we have decided on a water birth or pushing on the side.

I would like to preferably have a home birth experience. I have wanted to do this my whole life. I am so excited to find someone who will help me get exactly what I need with my experience and also walk me through it. I don’t really have a budget but I saw online it can be around 10,000 so hopefully not over that but we are flexible. I am planning to give birth at either citizens hospital in Victoria or Detar in Victoria, I am leaning towards citizens hospital. It is my 2nd pregnancy, my first was an emergency C section and I am trying for a VBAC this time! My provider is supportive, I just need to go into labor myself before 41 weeks & some change. I went very late for my first birth (41 and 3, and I took castor oil to effective induce myself) so there is some concern I won’t go into labor myself. I am going to be trying for a VBAC at Bay Area hospital I want a doula covered by Tricare insurance fully I don't have an exact birth plan but I want to form some expectations and have extra support, especially in a birthing position that isn't on my back.
