Seeking Night Doula / Newborn Care Specialist / Night Nanny Starting in about 1 week (after family support leaves). We're a queer BIPOC family looking for overnight support for our newborn, Mahalli. We're looking for someone who has: - Experience caring for medically vulnerable newborns (NICU or equivalent, IUGR/low birth weight, jaundice, feeding challenges, or recent hospitalization) - Strong clinical judgment and confidence following specialized newborn care plans - Trauma-informed, family-centered care - Strong understanding of postpartum recovery and perinatal mental health - A holistic approach that values rest, nourishment, emotional support, and caring for the whole family - LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally humble care - A calm, compassionate, proactive presence - A passion for teaching and empowering first-time parents - Collaboration with our pediatric and medical team Requirements: - Overnight availability - Aetna coverage (or ability to work with Aetna reimbursement) We're hoping to find someone who combines the expertise of an experienced newborn caregiver with the warmth and compassion of a deeply nurturing postpartum doula. We'd love to share more about our family's needs during a consultation.
Certified doula/newborn specialist 5+ year experience with newborns Age 35+ sleep training preferred 3-4 visits a week, 4-6 weeks
I need a night doula who can take full ownership of the baby’s needs during night when I am not the first responder. I need someone to autonomously handle the feeding, the diaper changes, and the soothing.
Post-partum assistance with baby and also around the house, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, potential bottle prep, etc. Would like to use my coverage under Kaiser Nor-Cal, but also open to adding on services or paying partially out of pocket.
Looking for an experienced night nanny preferably someone who speaks English can help with postpartum care, including meal preparation for the mother to help with lactation. Some day support would be beneficial
We are expecting twins later this fall and we are hoping to find the right person to join our support team! Though they are due late November, they will most likely arrive in early November. We are looking for support to help us get some sleep during the early days so we have energy to care for our 2.5 year old during the day. I plan to breastfeed and would like support on middle of the night feeds and getting the babies on similar sleep schedules.
