I would like someone else to help me express my wants and needs during child birth like a natural birth no epidural and I’m trying to find out pricing and how it all works this is my first baby I want a hospital birth but I don’t want to be induced or epidural or them breaking my water for me I don’t want cores cutting till it’s white and no pulse I want to deliver my polenta on my own I don’t want them taking it out with force I want golden time I’m just not sure how much a doula cost I don’t have the most money in the world I’m young

I plan to give birth in Waimea queens hospital possibly in Kealekekua hospital. I honestly have no idea on budget. I’m on a low income so preferably something more affordable, max a couple hundred dollars. We have no one we feel comfortable leaving our two young children with except his mom who will be coming out from the mainland. My first two were a bit early. She was on the plane while I was in labor with my second and luckily she got here in time but it really worries me for the third. If she misses the birth he will watch the children and I will be alone to give birth to our third which scares me. I also want help advocating for as few interventions as possible. I definitely plan on getting an epidural for pain management, but I still want the experience to feel as calm and supported as possible. My budget is around $800–$1,500, depending on what’s included. I plan on giving birth at North Country Hospital. My first child was delivered by midwives and I don't have that option this time around. I am looking for someone who can support me to allow my husband to he as least stressed about my well being as possible. I am also looking for any postpartum support as I will have a 4 year old and my husband will not be able to take paternity leave. I did not have a doula before so I'm not really sure what it all entails. I'm not sure on budget as I'm not sure what it costs. My birth wish is to have as little medical intervention as possible (unless I need induction like my first birth). Golden hour is a MUST. I would like to have the olive oil massage on my perineum to avoid tearing. If it's a boy I want him left intact.
