Planning a hospital birth Birth plan is as holistic as possible while being safe for myself and baby
Hi, looking for pre/post partum care and a night nanny. Ideally looking for someone in mid city LA, but please be located in LA proper. currently live in Venice but is potentially moving to the east side. looking for help leading up to birth and after and additional night nurse helps as well.
I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!
Looking for a prenatal/birth/postpartum doula who accepts/works with SAGAFTRA/Anthem insurance. We live in LA, our baby girl is due May 5th and we will be delivering at Cedars Sinai.

Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. 1. Birthing at Providence St. John’s Hospital, Santa Monica 2. Doula budget approx 6K, but trying to see what insurance can cover first 3. Limited cervical checks, free movement, no epidural, VBAC, no tension on placenta, natural birth, open to nitrous oxide
I’m planning to give birth at a hospital and I’m looking for a doula who can support a calm, empowering, and informed birth experience. I’d like someone who can help advocate for me, communicate clearly with medical staff, and keep me grounded emotionally and mentally throughout labor. My estimated budget is flexible depending on services included. Ideally, I’d love guidance with pain-management techniques, breathing, reassurance, and support before, during, and shortly after birth. I’m also interested in postpartum support and possibly night nursing in the beginning if needed. Overall, I want to feel safe, supported, and confident throughout this process.
