I am looking for doula support during birth and potentially postpartum. My husband and I felt very prepared, we read the bradley method and had been practicing quite a bit for a natural birth. I didn’t think there was a need for a doula because we seemed to be a great team. At our last ultrasound we got news that baby is measuring small and are pushing for induction. Now I feel silly for not hiring a doula sooner. It feels like such a huge gap in communication between us and the doctors even though we have done everything to educate ourselves. I am hoping to find someone that can help fill that gap, help us to feel like we are making informed choices and to support me during labor so I don’t have to rely fully on my husband in case of any complications.

Prenatal education , birth /delivery support, and postpartum support 1. Saratoga Hospital (I work for Albany Medical Center and I might change to this hospital due to logistics) 2. $800-$900 HSA funds 3. I would like to try a natural birth and I'm open to using an epidural
We plan to give birth at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York, in a hospital setting. Our estimated budget for doula services is flexible and open to discussion, depending on the scope and timing of support provided. Our birth plan prioritizes a calm, supportive environment with minimal medical intervention where safely possible, while remaining flexible and guided by medical advice. We are particularly interested in postpartum (afterbirth) support to assist with recovery, newborn care, and emotional well-being following delivery. Our expected delivery date is February 13, 2026.
1) I plan to give birth at a local birthing center affiliated with (and next door to) a hospital. 2) $1,500-2,000 3) I need help - I’d prefer to have a non-medicated, vaginal birth, but it’s my first time and I understand that what I think sounds best may not be most realistic at the time. I’d like someone to guide me so we can have a game plan for what I ‘want’ and what I might end up with.
$1500 budget Looking for someone with 2 years experience. Baby will be newborn Looking for help with sleep training, lactation, cleaning/cooking
I am currently in my 24th week of pregnancy, and have so far had a smooth pregnancy. My due date is July 13, 2026 and I plan to give birth at St. Peter's hospital in Albany, NY. We are open to budget, but would like to stay under $3,000. I am not sure if I will need a lactation consultant, but wanted to look at options and learn more so I can make an informed decision about it. My birth plan is to ideally be minimally medicated, and not have a full epidural. I would like to be able to get up and walk around, use the bathroom, and switch birthing positions based on what feels comfortable with minimal limitations. I hope to have a vaginal birth and learn more ways to prepare for a safe one.
Giving birth at St. Peter's Hospital. Budget $2000.

A night nanny or doula to help with night feedings and changes as well as someone to help with the baby during the day
I am currently pregnant with my second child (a boy). My first delivery in short was a series of unfortunate events that ended in a c section. I would to try for a TOLAC/VBAC. My doctors have said I’m a great candidate for it. I plan on giving birth at Baystate in Springfield MA. I am have a lot of anxiety about my birth not only due to the last time but this time around there has been a lot of miss communication and I just don’t want to be worried about everyone being on the same page while trying to have a successful labor. While having an epidural isn’t out of the question or having other medical interventions isn’t out of the question I’d like to just let my body do its thing and labor naturally with alternative pain management methods. I honestly have zero idea what a doula even costs to even know what is reasonable, if it’s covered by insurance etc.

My partner and I are both sick and struggling to take care of our baby. She was sick but has recovered. I don’t know if you do overnight shifts for babies recovering from or who have just recovered from illness, or in homes where people are sick, but in case you do, I’m reaching out to see if you might be able to do an overnight shift tonight, tomorrow night, or both so my partner and I can try to rest and recover.
I am interested in Child Care for my 4-month-old daughter starting March 15th. Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm). There will be days scattered throughout where we'd be able to be back and care for our daughter by Noon. We live on a campus in Deerfield, and there is another family with a 4-month-old daughter who may also require support and care.
