I have alot of Mental Health Issues that are just increasing while being pregnant. I have PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, etc. I have so little trust in alot of people due to the way of growing up. I get doula services thru my insurance I heard and I think I could really benefit from it and get the help I need. So I wanted a doula to help me through the rest of my pregnancy as well as through labor and postpartum. I’m a first time mom and I’m a very holistic natural herbal medicine type of person. I don’t approve of the modern medicine ways and my doctors have tried to shove their practices of things for tests and what not down my throat. It makes me feel trapped and uncomfortable. I need someone to support me and back me up with my birth plan. I want to go all natural, I don’t want an epidural and the only thing I will allow if absolutely needed is some medicine for pain that wouldn’t affect my baby. I’m also having a boy and overall I want everything as natural as possible for myself and my son. I need someone who will guide me as well as respect my wishes.
