Birth plan id like to wait to cut the cord, no meds or intervention unless medically necessary, golden hour, and that all currently. Previous experience a must certs a plus. I’m a 23 year old women giving birth for the first time and would like a well experienced person and calm birth experience. I’d like to breast feed and pump so lactation help may be needed

- licensed lactation consultant - craniosacral therapy - my son is 2 weeks old & exclusively breast feeding - hurts when he is feeding / nipple is white & in pain after - I think the latch is shallow - I currently have mastitis - want to make sure he is feeding & draining the breast

Prefer experience with Velamentous Cord Insertion (VCI) and advanced maternal age. Also prefer Doula who accepts medicaid (Jefferson Health Plans) but not a requirement. Thank you!

I’m looking for a female lactation consultant that can come in person to help me figure out if I’ll be able to breast-feed. This is my second pregnancy in the first one I didn’t produce milk but in this one I have encouragement. I’m in tremendous pain in my breast and armpits and I had nipple surgery three years ago where I was told I won’t be able to breast-feed. I’m in the process of finding out if they stated that because it’s unsafe to breast-feed and they put something in my nipples or because they thought that the milk ducks will not work, which is very likely what I’m going through. I ordered the spectra S1 plus pumps because I was leaking today for the first time but nothing came out of the pumps and I’m not sure if that’s because my ducks don’t work or because I have the wrong size. I just need a lot of help and I think I need someone in person. I can’t even hold my baby because of the pain so I’m not sure what I should do and if I should continue trying or try to get rid of this milk supply.
