I will be giving birth at Cooper Camden. I plan to labor at home and then hope to establish a calm and comfortable environment when I transition to the hospital. I love to be in water and plan to use a shower. I do plan on receiving an epidural but would like to be prepared in case that cannot happen. I am interested in a doula with several years experience. I am an older mom at 35, in a higher risk pregnancy. I am looking for a doula to assist with labor preparation, to attend my labor and delivery at the hospital, and to provide postpartum and lactation support as I hope to breast feed.

My health insurance-Horizon NJ health- told me about new doula services they provide (I'm not really sure how it works or how to sign up). I have 2 kids-an 8 year old and a 2 year old I care for.
