She had a bad experience with her first and went straight to pumping. She would like to try breastfeeding this time around. Budget is flexible.

Looking for a doula who also can double as a lactation consultant since I am planning on breastfeeding. Would need during the birth and after wards just until I get the hang of breastfeeding. My birth plan is to have a natural birth with the possibility for pain management if needed. I have a phobia of needles so I would like to explore other pain management options before epidural but I am not opposed to having one if those don't work. I would like immediate skin to skin after birth with delayed cord clamping. My husband has chosen not to be in the room for the actual birth or the afterbirth due to past trauma, but my Mom said she will be in the room for me and potentially my best friend if she can make it in time. My husband will wait outside the room until the afterbirth is cleaned up and then come in to bond with baby.

I would like to plan for a home birth but I'm already low income and know this may not be an option for me. I would like to have someone who can help me throughout the process or just inform me of what would be best.

I am 4 weeks postpartum and an under supplier. As suggested by my pediatrician, we have switched to exclusive pumping, I pump every 2 hours and only produce a combined 1oz per pump.

Baby girl was premature, born at 35 weeks and we haven’t been able to latch without a nipple shield. She will nurse with it for over an hour and still act hungry so I am also unsure how much she is getting. I give her breast milk through a bottle 90% of the time.
