1- hospital birth accompanied by my OB 2- Fully covered by my insurance preferably. My Tricare plan covers up to 6 hours prior to birth and one visit during l&d. 3- I’m wanting to try for a Vbac and labor unmedicated for the majority of labor, but am open to/considering an epidural once active labor occurs. I had an emergency induction with my first pregnancy at 35 weeks due to cholestasis, and ended up having an emergency c-section as well due to failure to progress and concerns of fetal distress by my OB. It was an incredibly traumatic experience that I’m hoping to avoid this time around. My main goal is to use the least amount of medical intervention possible.
I’d like to give birth in the comfort of my home; preferably a water birth but it doesn’t have to be. I’d prefer a black midwife/doula and I would need help with a birth plan as well as care up until my due date.

I’d like to plan a homebirth! I live in Athens La which is about 20 mins from Ruston.
I plan to give birth at a hospital and I would like to maintain a low budget. I do not want to do an epidural or C section, but if it needs to happen I will. I just need guidance on prepping for natural birth for me and my husband :) BCBS- Guidestone
