My wife is currently co-sleeping with our 1 year old as we have really struggled with gentle sleep training techniques. She does not believe in cry it out, but we are really struggling, and she needs sleep. The little one has never slept through the night since the day she was born. At best it’s 3 wake ups a night, but lately it’s been waking up for hours crying even with my wife trying to console her. I am having trouble with my 8 week olds sleep during the day since she was about 3 weeks! Her night time sleep is great, she puts herself to sleep and wakes up for 1-2 feeds and goes right back to sleep, but for some reason her naps are terrible she will only fall asleep for 5 minutes and then if i manage to get her back down asleep she only sleeps for 20 more minutes.
