Newborn Care Specialist services

• Provides overnight or 24-hour care for newborns (0–3 months, sometimes up to 6 months) • Supports feeding (breast, bottle, or combo) and helps with proper burping techniques • Assists with establishing healthy sleep habits and gentle sleep conditioning • Changes diapers, monitors baby’s cues, and maintains detailed logs (feeding, sleeping, diapers, etc.) • Prepares and sanitizes bottles and baby items • Offers guidance on newborn care, safety, and development • Supports parents in the postpartum transition, offering reassurance and education • Helps create and maintain a calm, structured routine • Recognizes signs of possible concerns (e.g., reflux, colic, feeding issues) and communicates them to parents • Provides referrals to lactation consultants, doulas, or pediatric specialists when needed
