I am expecting my second baby and looking for a home or birth center delivery with hospital backup. I am currently 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant. My birth plan focuses on a natural, low-intervention vaginal delivery. For context, my first baby was born via a completely uncomplicated vaginal delivery on January 17, 2025, and I did not use an epidural. My pregnancy is completely healthy and low-risk, as confirmed by my monthly ultrasounds, blood work, and a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT). I am currently monitored by a gynecologist. Please note I am a non-resident without Canadian health insurance, so I will be self-paying.
