I’m looking for a doula to support me throughout my birth journey, including labor, delivery, and preparing for postpartum. I’m new to the whole doula experience, but I recently saw a friend have a doula, and I was amazed by the support she received. Her doula supported her throughout her pregnancy, helped prepare her for labor, coached and encouraged her during delivery, and even noticed things during labor that the nurses weren’t as attentive to. Seeing how much of a difference that support made for my friend really opened my eyes to wanting that same type of guidance and reassurance for myself. I would love to find someone who can help me feel prepared, supported, informed, and confident throughout this entire experience—from pregnancy to labor and into postpartum.

Planning on giving birth at a hospital, uneducated or with an epidural. I am at week 13 right now, planning on having delayed cord clamp, wanting to stay as relaxed and oxytocin-full during delivery, want to have minimal tearing and no C-section. Among the requirements is experience and broad knowledge from different sources. I am 26 years old, plan to breast feed all the way, but kind of worried about having enough milk. No disabilities, no chronic diseases, never drank or smoked, eating healthy. No additional duties. Budget $1000-1500.

I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can provide in-home support after I give birth. I’m especially interested in someone who can help with postpartum recovery, including gentle tummy massages, postpartum belly care, and overall healing. I’d also love someone who can teach or assist with infant massage and provide guidance on newborn care. If you offer these services or can recommend someone who does, I’d really appreciate it. I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and would like to get started early with education, planning, and preparation for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Since this is my first pregnancy, I am still learning about my options and am not yet sure what type of birth I would like to have. I would appreciate a doula who can educate me on different birth options, help me understand what to expect throughout pregnancy, and support me in creating a flexible birth plan as I learn what feels right for me. I am also navigating a co-parenting situation and would appreciate support with communication, preparing for the baby together, and understanding how my partner and I can work as a team throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My main goal is to feel informed, prepared, confident, and supported rather than overwhelmed. I would love someone who is patient, nonjudgmental, willing to answer questions, and able to help me understand my choices so I can make decisions that are right for me and my baby.

I want to have a natural birth in the hospital. I am using medicare for a provider. I would want dim lighting and to be able to move freely if needed. IV strictly if necessary. Meditative music (possibly). Use natural techniques for pain relief. Non evasive fetal monitoring. Allow labor to progress free of time limits and strictly if necessary- last resort augmented labor. Push instinctively. Avoid Episiotomy. Lotus Birth or wait till cord is white. Partner will cut the cord. Partner or I will rub vernix into baby’s skin. Skin-to-skin with me and partner. If a boy- 3rd day circumcision. No immediate vaccines or blood drawn for baby. Combination of breast and bottle feeding.

Piedmont hospital I am not sure my budget as of right now I want to go all natural no epidural and want to try a water birth

This will be my third pregnancy and I plan to give birth at home for the first time. My budget is $2.5k. My requirements are must have experience and knowledge working with families of color, certified lactation specialist, and experienced in home births. I am 26 years-old and have breastfed both of my babies so I want to do that again. Postpartum I am looking for help with sleep training, cooking and light household chores to allow me to get as much rest as possible.

I would need assistance during the day where I can watch my children and doula watch the newborn with me I will be present at all times just need a little assistance if I can’t clean the kitchen I would need assistance I am having a c section so it will be difficult for the first few weeks until I got the hang of it

I would like to give birth in my own home using a water birth. I would prefer for someone to not be overbearing and pushy. I want a midwife that will listen to my concerns and wants without forcing me to go to a hospital for no reason.
