Hospital (planning to deliver at a hospital in the Bay Area / Mountain View, CA area). I have Cigna commercial insurance and understand doula care may be covered under California AB 904. I'd like to first use my insurance benefit if possible. For any out-of-pocket portion, my budget is approximately $4,000 for postpartum support. First-time mother, IVF pregnancy, currently under OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care due to advanced maternal age (38). Planning a hospital birth. Open to natural birth but following medical guidance. Due date: January 20, 2027. I would especially value postpartum support, as I don't have family nearby.

Hello Allison, I hope this finds you well. This is my first pregnancy. I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section. I am eager to learn about natural birthing techniques and positions that work with my body and gravity. Finally, my husband and I are Catholic, so we would appreciate a doula who is comfortable with prayer. Thank you for your time. Cheers, Elise 925-352-1942
1. I haven’t gotten a referral yet but I think I’ll go with El Camino in Mountain View 2. I’m looking for a doula that accepts tricare. I’m also open to paying out of pocket but tricare would be my first pick. 3. This is my second child and the labor with my first was under 4 hours. Birth plan this time would be to labor without an epidural. All other parts of my birth plan I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to labor at home if possible.
Our second child is due in the first week of December 2026. It is going to be a scheduled C-section. Our first baby was born healthy, and we expect the same for our second baby. We are looking for a night nanny's support to take care of the baby during the first 6 to 8 weeks, 5 to 7 nights a week. 8 hours a night. The main responsibility is to take care of the baby during the night: bringing the baby to mom for feeding or bottle feeding as needed, burping, changing diapers, soothing the baby to sleep, and light baby-related tasks like sterilizing bottles and pump parts.
I am seeking a postpartum doula available late July / August. I will probably have an elective C-section, so my primary focus is on C-section recovery support, newborn care, and lactation assistance. Knowledge of safe postpartum pelvic floor exercises is a plus.

Hi! I hope you're doing well. I'm currently looking for a birth doula for my upcoming delivery and came across your profile. My first birth was a difficult and traumatic experience, so this time I'm hoping to approach birth with more support, preparation, and a greater sense of confidence. I'm looking for a doula who can provide a calming presence, thoughtful guidance, and strong advocacy throughout labor and birth. I'd love to learn more about your approach, your availability, and what it's like to work with you. If it seems like we might be a good fit, I'd be grateful to connect. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm looking for night doula 3 days per week for my first 2 weeks, and 1 - 2 nights per week for the following 3-5 weeks. I'm also looking for day time doula 2 - 3 times a week for the first 2 weeks. I'd like the doula to have the doula certification, fully vaccinated, and a lactation certificate would be a plus.
I have Kaiser insurance and am planning on giving birth at Kaiser Santa Clara. My birth plan is to be open to assistance or suggestions from professional support. I would like to try different types of pain management and am open to all if necessary. Ideally I do not want to have an IV so movement is possible. I would like to have delayed chord clamping if possible. Skin to skin and golden hour are important to me. My husband will be in the room and is very kind and attentive. I would like to have contact after birth as it is my first child and I’m sure there will be questions, but we don’t need help like cooking, cleaning, or laundry.
