i am about 5 weeks and this would be my 4th pregnancy and i need one that will respect my wishes about no vaccines for me or the baby i have CareSource for and im still trying to decide if i would like a hospital or home birth

I’m especially interested in meeting with a lactation consultant for guidance before and after birth. I plan to give birth at Saint Joseph hospital. I’m considering having a home birth but my first two children were born in an hospital under the care of a physician. I am unsure of a budget but can’t afford as much as a hospital charges. I am currently unsure of an exact birth plan.

Hospital birth, unsure of budget, unsure of birth plan

I am interested in a midwife/dual with a holistic approach. That will help me to achieve a safe and unmediated birth. I have had o e prior child as a vaginal birth, I labored for over 24hrs, did end up with an epidural at 9.5cm (I did not want one), had a 2nd sac of water, and did have a tear. I did not want to push on my back and made that clear, it didn’t change anything, I asked for delayed cord clamping, it did not change anything. I did not have a lot of the things I wanted met.

I would like a midwife or doula to assist during my homebirth of my 5th child in April. Estimated budget is $5,000 and plan on laboring and delivering entirely at home.

I plan to give birth in a hospital in Irmo,SC. I am hoping insurance will cover portion of cost. I plan on immediate skin to skin contact, no cleaning/bathing, delayed cord clamping, delayed shots and eye ointment. It is crucial that I get the first 2 hours with my baby alone unless medically necessary.
