I’d like someone highly experienced with newborns who can handle overnight feedings, diaper changes, soothing, burping, and sleep support so I can rest. Responsibilities include overnight feedings (bottle feeding), burping, diaper changes, soothing the baby back to sleep, and monitoring the baby’s needs throughout the night. I would prefer someone who speaks both English and Arabic. In addition to newborn care, I would appreciate light housekeeping related to the baby, such as washing baby bottles, tidying up the nursery and common areas, doing the baby’s laundry, and washing a few dishes as needed. Experience with newborns is required, and I am looking for someone who is gentle, dependable, and comfortable providing overnight care.

Hi DeAnna, We live in Grosse Pointe Park and are expecting our second child early January. Our first son is 4 years old. We're on the older side and both work full time so are looking for a night nanny to help us with support, and to get some rest. We'd also love help getting new baby onto a sleep schedule and know you probably know way more than us about how to do this! I'm due on January 15, but I'll most likely have preeclampsia again and need to be induced a few weeks early which puts us right around the holidays so we estimated a January 1 start date.
