Hello friends!! I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Kendall Francis. I am a christian certified birth doula. I serve mama’s in the Fort Mill and Charlotte surrounding areas during pregnancy and postpartum. I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. I believe with all my heart that it is OUR decision as women how our pregnancy journey should turn out and WE have the control, not our providers. That is where I come in as your doula to help educate and advocate for you every step of the way no matter what you decide for your birth. Following her own journey through experiencing perinatal mood disorders combined with a major career shift after the birth of her daughter during the Covid-19 pandemic, she became motivated to fulfill her passion to provide support to others in a *new* setting. I was born and raised in Asheville, NC and am so proud to call this town my home. I have always had a passion for science and a specific fascination with the human body and its capabilities. In 2013, I graduated from AB-Tech with an associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and in 2019, I graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Having a doula with my third birth made such a difference in my experience that I wanted to shout it from the rooftops. I wanted to share my birth story with everyone I came into contact with and when I realized I could be that difference in other people's stories, I couldn't find doula training fast enough! In September of 2023 I became certified through ProDoula as a birth, postpartum and infant care doula with more to come! I am so excited to bring my support services to my community and create lasting relationships in the process.

Tori is an Indigenous doula that sees attending births as sacred and a spiritual honor. Tori has a strong passion for the mental well-being of birthing people throughout their journey, and continuing on into their postpartum care. She likes to see each person holistically and provides care accordingly. While continuing her education, she has learned how important support and a safe space are for all birthing people and she does her very best to cultivate a safe and supportive environment for the birthing person. Tori is a graduate of UNC Asheville, she holds a Bachelors in Science with a focus on Health and Wellness. She is a trained Full Spectrum Doula, DONA trained Birth & Postpartum, with additional Abortion & Loss training. Becoming a Doula was official after having attended the birth of her nephew. Tori enjoys hiking with her dog, holistic health, and all things birth! She was born in CT, raised in NY, and now resides in beautiful Leicester NC, and serves the surrounding areas of Asheville NC.
