Birth plan- minimizing interruptions/monitoring, waterbirth, hypnobirthing, following physiological cues. I will be going to St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton. Our budget would be around $1,500-$2,000. My ideal birth plan would be a vaginal birth with my husband there with my doula. Listening to music would be great but I don’t want other unnecessary noises and people present if they don’t need to be. I don’t want my water artificially broken and I do not want to be induced if it can be avoided. I do want an epidural for pain management. I would like delayed cord cutting and to have my baby spend the golden hour with me after they are born. I do not want an episiotomy or things like forceps to be used to deliver my baby if it can be avoided. I want the process to be as calm as possible.
