I plan to give birth at Mercy’s hospital. My birth plan, I want to use epidural but been thinking and natural. I want to get pictures and videos, but I’m sure not allowed to. I want to breastfeed, and breast milk in a bottle, but not sure how to. I want to mentally and physically prepare for going into labor, and not too much pain. I want to know and learn my body signs.

I am looking to give birth at St. Elizabeth's, but I am not "booked" in to them. I don't have a detailed birth plan, but I know I want delayed cord clamping, and skin to skin. I would like more information about pain management as I am not yet certain if I want to get an epidural, but I do not want to go through labor with zero pain management skills and/or medication. As of this moment I do not have a budget for a doula, I am merely gathering more information, one of them being if having a doula is even possible for myself and my husband.

Good afternoon, My husband and I are a military family living in Collinsville IL. We are expecting a baby on October 5th and it’s been highly recommended that I get a doula.
