I plan to give birth at Mercy’s hospital. My birth plan, I want to use epidural but been thinking and natural. I want to get pictures and videos, but I’m sure not allowed to. I want to breastfeed, and breast milk in a bottle, but not sure how to. I want to mentally and physically prepare for going into labor, and not too much pain. I want to know and learn my body signs.

I am looking to give birth at St. Elizabeth's, but I am not "booked" in to them. I don't have a detailed birth plan, but I know I want delayed cord clamping, and skin to skin. I would like more information about pain management as I am not yet certain if I want to get an epidural, but I do not want to go through labor with zero pain management skills and/or medication. As of this moment I do not have a budget for a doula, I am merely gathering more information, one of them being if having a doula is even possible for myself and my husband.

My wife and i are looking to have postpartum doula support as this is our first child and we would feel comfortable having someone knowledgeable to help us with ideas and solutions to the difficult and unknown situations we find ourselves in. We plan to have the baby at the hospital but we feel confident in that part, it's the postpartum phase we are mostly interested in support for. My wife's benefits cover 1500 in doula related expenses, we would try to keep our budget around that.

Good afternoon, My husband and I are a military family living in Collinsville IL. We are expecting a baby on October 5th and it’s been highly recommended that I get a doula. We have been on a pregnancy journey for about six years, doing 8 rounds of IUI and 10 rounds of IVF. Just when we gave up, we conceived naturally, and are 23 weeks along today. We’ve spent so much time trying to get pregnant that now that we are i have no idea what I’m doing, let along prepared for the birth or postpartum. I intend to deliver at HSHS St Elizabeth in O’Fallon IL. We would like to use our tricare insurance benefits for the doula services. Our budget is appt $1000. I plan to have a natural birth and i am interested in having birth photos as well. Thank you

Night nurse that can help with watching over baby, changing, and feedings

This is my second pregnancy and we are looking for a postpartum doula! With our first I remember thinking how I would do anything for an hour of sleep and I really think The first few weeks are really where we will need to most support. I’m sure I will also need help with practical household things like dishes and laundry but overnight support is my top need. I’m not entirely sure what budget it is like and since it’s so far out, I am really just trying to get an idea of what is out there.

I want to have a natural home birth, a possible water birth. So I need to feel comfortable, which means standing in different positions, music, massages, stretching ect. I need delayed cord clamping and to be able to keep my placenta. I also need help with the process of taking care of the placenta and how to have it capsuled. But I really just need someone by my side as a friend, to walk me through this and to explain my opinions.

Some one to take care of me, my baby, and my house for 30-40 days after delivery

I need help preparing for birth mentally and physically. I plan on having my daughter at the hospital. I’m not sure of my birth plan just yet.

I am expecting my second baby in February 2025. I am currently looking for a lactation consultant that can meet with me prior to delivery and do in-home visits during postpartum to help me navigate breastfeeding. I am also interested in services that can be helpful through a postpartum doula and nutritionist.
