This is my 5th baby. I really have no idea how birth will go. I made it to an induction with my 4th baby which very much surprised me. I would love not to go to 41 weeks with this baby like I have with the previous kiddos. I have done unmedicated births in the past and would prefer this birth to be unmedicated as well. Though this is a suprise 5th baby and I am very much not looking forward to delivery as I am very aware of what to expect pain wise. I have Tricare Prime insurance through TriWest.

I'm looking into having a doula along for my third birth. My first two labor experiences were straightforward with a few hiccups, but I'm looking for more flexibility and agency this time around. I plan to labor at the hospital and am open to an epidural or not depending on how I'm feeling in the moment. I'd like to retain movement as long as I can tolerate it. I don't have a budget in mind right now, I'm beginning the research process.

My goal is to be present, informed, and actively involved in the birth process. Since this is our first baby, we have limited knowledge and would love a doula who is experienced in educating and supporting first-time parents throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. For our budget, we would prefer to work with a doula whose services are covered by Tricare Prime or who has experience helping military families navigate reimbursement options. We are open to discussing costs and available packages.

Hello, We are looking for a Doula that is certified and accepts Tricare West coverage (we have Tricare Reserve Select). I am still working out my personal birth plan as we are very early in our pregnancy, but wanted to get a head start on finding a Doula that is the right fit. I would like to try to have an unmedicated birth, but still want to leave my options open for a medicated birth. I am also hoping to breastfeed and would appreciate a doula who is knowledgeable about breastfeeding and can provide some guidance during the postpartum period.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I have no idea what this costs, but I’m looking for something inexpensive that accepts BCBS insurance. I’m going to work toward doing it as natural as possible. I am not anti-epidural but if I can have someone prepare me, I shouldn’t need it. My husband will be involved in my birth. But I believe I want delayed cord clamping, the golden hour, and a natural birth with as least of a risk of tearing as possible.

For postpartum, I’m looking for someone who can help me feel confident caring for our newborn while also supporting my recovery. I’d appreciate newborn care guidance, feeding/breastfeeding support, soothing techniques, sleep guidance, and general education about what to expect with a newborn and postpartum recovery. I’d also love practical help around the house during those early weeks, including meal prep, dishes, light cleaning, and laundry, so I can focus on resting, healing, breastfeeding, bonding with our baby, and adjusting to being a new mom.
