About me

Hey there! My name is Stephanie and I do one of the most amazing things on this planet. I get to capture the moment that a family welcomes a new life. Birth is truly and utterly raw and intimate and vulnerable. You are about to embark on one of the hardest, yet life-changing moments of your life. You are trusting me to surround myself into your story, to become a part of it in order to capture the emotions and events that tell it. There is an art to being within the birth space and being unobtrusive at the same time. The moments are fleeting and unscripted. Your emotions will rise and fall. Your birth space is sacred and your story unguided. Your birth story is not the same as the next person’s and I am prepared to embrace that. Service introduction

I am a professional birth photographer and videographer. I have been shooting births for 12 years and have been in the majority of the hospitals in and around the Houston vicinity as well as birth centers. I have worked with numerous midwives and doulas throughout the years and have built a network of providers that I trust and recommend. I have a great knowledge and comfort of not only the equipment needed while being in the trickle, low-lit birth spaces, but also the atmosphere of such as well as working with other birth workers.
