This is my Third baby. I had a still birth first pregnancy and had a really hard second pregnancy delivery. This my first baby. I would like to birth at home and in case of emergency help with a transfer to the local hospital and be present for the birth. I have a full birth plan that intend on discussing with my midwife but that's the basics of it. Preferably I'd love a midwife that's holistic and medically trained. Hi there, I’m in need of a doula. I am needing assistance and guidance with breast feeding, pumping, establishing a routine, learning about gas/burping. I need assistance with keeping up with the baby’s dishes and laundry.

Since this is my first time pregnancy I need someone who can help me with the birthing and preparing mentally and physically process throughout my pregnancy. I will be giving birth in a hospital. I want to give birth without being medicated. Estimated budget is 4,000. I am 32 and would like someone older than myself. I plan to give birth at Sutter Davis Hopsital. I am going to use my insurance for care. My goal is a calm, physiologic, and low intervention water birth. I understand that circumstances can change, and the safety of Isabella and myself comes first. I would like to use the birthing tub and plan to have a water birth if I remain an appropriate candidate. Before entering the tub, I want freedom of movement and access to a birthing ball. I want to follow my body’s cues for positioning, including side-lying, hands-and-knees, swaying, standing, or other positions that feel natural. I would like to drink fluids during labor when medically appropriate. No routine IV unless medically necessary. Wireless monitoring is strongly preferred when fetal monitoring is necessary and available. I want to allow my body to birth Isabella naturally and push according to my body’s instincts and coaching from my doula. Immediate chest-to-chest skin-to-skin. Uninterrupted bonding time for as long as we are comfortable. Allow Isabella the opportunity to self-latch and initiate breastfeeding while chest-to-chest. Delay routine weighing, measurements, medications, and other nonurgent newborn care until after our bonding time. Delayed cord clamping until the cord has stopped pulsating and appears white, when medically appropriate. My goal is exclusive breastfeeding. Requirements would be that they are certified and covered by Tricare. My insurance is Tricare West Region. TRICARE covers up to six hours of visits by a certified labor doula. These hours can be split into 15-minute increments any way you’d like. You also get one untimed visit during birth.
