We plan to deliver at hca northwest and currently due on September 25th. We are hoping to minimize additional medications and c section if medically possible.

I plan to have a home birth, but if I have to, then I will do it in the hospital Or birth center, but I still would prefer a midwife. As far as my budget that is unclear at the moment, as I am still researching the prices and cost for everything. My Birth Plan Labor & Environment Preferences • I prefer a natural birth with no medical interventions or pain medications. • The lights should be dimmed, and I want minimal interruptions to maintain a calm environment. • Soft music may be played but kept at a low volume. • I want my best friend and the baby’s father present for support. • I plan to remain active during labor, using walking and a birthing ball to aid progression. Delivery Preferences • I prefer to deliver in a squatting position or lying down, depending on what feels most natural and effective at the time. • I do not want the umbilical cord to be cut immediately. Instead, I choose a lotus birth, allowing the placenta and umbilical cord to remain attached until they naturally detach. This plan reflects my ideal birth experience, and I appreciate my healthcare team’s support in respecting my choices while ensuring the safety of both my baby and me.

I have Humana Healthy Horizons (Medicaid), which covers doula services: 5 Prenatal visits; 1 Birth coaching assistance during vaginal delivery; 3 Postpartum visits. This is my first birth, and I want to try to vaginal birth with medication to manage my pain. I am a type one diabetic and would love to have a doula that can coach me through the birth process. I don’t want to be confined to my hospital bed. I would love to learn hypnotic birthing and deep breathing to properly push. I am a nurse and if I didn’t have diabetes I would have preferred to give birth at home. I don’t want it to feel like I’m at work. More like a calm environment to bring our son into. Birth date is August 25th, however I am going to be induced anywhere between 38-39 weeks. I'm scheduled for a c-section at memorial regional hospital (Joe dimagio). I have 2 beautiful girls 9 and 7 and both were c-sections. It's been 7years since I've had one and am feeling very nervous also not sure what my body is feeling.

Goal: To have a calm, supported, and natural birthing experience using hypnobirthing techniques, with flexibility if medical intervention is needed. I would like someone to train me and my husband in hypnobirthing leading up to labor and help me stay grounded and in tune with my body. I plan to begin the birthing process at home until I progress enough to go to the hospital at which time I would like minimal interventions and a calm labor. I am a nurse practitioner and am aware of the necessity of some intervention when warranted but strongly against the generalized use of induction and pitocin. My mother and mother in law are both physicians and will assist in decision making if intervention is needed with the help of an educated doula. Unsure on budget but very flexible
