Hi, I’m Mariela a Certified Birth Doula (DONA), Postpartum Doula, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Newborn Care Specialist, and Childbirth Educator with 19 years of experience supporting mothers, babies, and families. Originally from Argentina and based in Miami, I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. My experience includes 10 years working in hospital maternity and NICU settings, which allows me to combine professional knowledge with compassionate, personalized care. Being a doula is more than my profession it is truly who I am. I believe every mother deserves to feel heard, respected, supported, and never judged throughout pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum. My role is to provide evidence-based information, emotional and physical support, and practical guidance while honoring each family’s individual preferences. I want every mother I accompany to feel confident in her decisions, connected to her baby, and supported as she discovers her own strength and intuition. My services include: • Birth doula support • Postpartum and overnight care • Newborn care and parental education • Prenatal and childbirth education • Prenatal breastfeeding preparation • In-home and virtual lactation consultations • Comprehensive mother and baby feeding assessments • Personalized feeding plans and follow-up support As an IBCLC, I am especially passionate about helping mothers and babies build a comfortable and nurturing feeding relationship. I’m so grateful to have had her as my doula! From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable with her, and I always appreciated the consultations and all the knowledge she shared with me. Whenever I had a question or concern, I could send her a message, and she was always so responsive and helpful. Her guidance gave me so much peace of mind, especially during those moments when I wasn’t sure if I was doing things right. Thanks to her support and advice, I also feel that I had a much better experience with breastfeeding and building my milk supply. I highly recommend her to any new mom looking for someone knowledgeable, caring, supportive, and always willing to help.

My passion and dream as a doula is to create a loving environment – whether that be in a hospital or in your own home – that supports you to “birth your own way.” My role is to help you settle into the birthing experience, offer insights, remind you of your divine nature and innate intelligence, trust and support your decisions and to be a witness to you bringing your beautiful soul baby earth-side, as safely and as gentle as possible. I am available for in home customizable support, to provide the ultimate luxurious birthing experience of your dreams. Doulas strive to provide continuous labor support, and studies have shown that when a women has this continuous support there will be a higher rate of a normal vaginal birth, less likely to have pain medication, less negative feelings, and less Cesareans. Labors are also typically shorter and the baby will less likely to have complications at birth. The presence of a Doula can also be helpful in sharing the partner responsibility allowing them to be more at ease, more present to enjoy the wonder of birth I offer 18+ years of bodywork experience that can begin with massage sessions leading up to your due date. Massage in pregnancy has shown to create better sleep, decrease anxiety and depression, aid in fewer complications during labor and have an overall more positive experience during the first few weeks after birth. I feel comfortable in the ebb and flow and view the birthing process as both very physical and spiritual experience.

As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.
