Hi! I’m Tamia, a postpartum doula and experienced newborn care provider based in the Bay Area. 🤍 I specialize in overnight postpartum support, helping families feel rested, supported, and confident during those first precious weeks at home with their baby. My background includes several years of infant and newborn care, including experience as an infant teacher and private nanny. I’m CPR certified and have training in child development, safe sleep practices, newborn feeding support, soothing techniques, and establishing healthy nighttime routines. During overnight shifts, I provide hands-on newborn care including feedings, burping, diaper changes, soothing and settling, bottle washing/sanitizing, light baby-related tasks, and detailed overnight logs. I also support breastfeeding and pumping families by helping manage expressed milk and nighttime feeding routines. My approach is gentle, nurturing, and tailored to each family’s preferences. My goal is to care for your baby with the same patience and attentiveness I would want for my own family, while giving parents the opportunity to rest and recover. 🤍
