I’m a 35 year old woman, I have a partner who has a demanding career and may not be able to be present during the delivery depending upon work needs. I plan to delivery at Brandon regional hospital. I am considered high because of my age, BMI is 30, and I have an auto immune disease (hyperthyroidism). I don’t know what the competitive price for a doula is, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to find out if it is something I could afford. I don’t have a birthing plan really which would be something I would hope I could gain knowledge from a doula on. Thank you!
