Looking for a doula or a midwife to assess me during my pregnancy Journey. My wife and I have been working with the Olive Clinic in Kelowna, BC, and got pregnant with IUI. I am 32 years old, this is my first pregnancy and I do not have a family doctor. I am interested in learning about home births vs hospital. We do not have any family in town and these services will ease my stress substantially! I am only 6 weeks pregnant and yet to think of a birthing plan. My budget up to $2,000. Birth in a Hospital, hotel for early labour 1500-2000$ Natural birth, no medication, breath techniques and visualization

I’m having Twins and really would like somebody in indigenous to help me navigate my cultural beliefs I’d love to have a water birth, but it seems like nobody does that here in Chilliwack for twins

I plan to give birth at my home. I am unsure about my budget, since I don't know what this type of support costs. I would like to give birth at home, with my partner, a doula and a midwife. I would like a woman to assist me in birthing. I would like a natural, peaceful birth.

I will be having the baby at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, but I have always been interested in the option of a home birth, I haven’t fully decided. A budget is undecided since I am not sure what a midwife or doula typically costs. I am very early so I don’t have a birth plan just yet, but I do know that I think it’s important to have an additional support with me to advocate for what I will want. My choices may seem controversial to medical personnel.

Breast feeding was very hard with my first, I am hoping for some guidance the second time around for an easier transition. 5. I had to have a c-section after 14hrs of active labour… With a failed epidural after 3 attempts. The epidural was left in, so I wasn’t able to move around which made the pain very intense. I am hoping to have a VBAC this time, but would like someone in my corner to help with the process so my husband can focus on me and not the medical aspects.

I would like a doula or midwife that can help support me through pregnancy and labour. I want the least interventions possible and an unmedicated birth. I will be delivering in a hospital. Budget is about $1500

1- I am planning to give birth in a hospital setting, but not at Surrey Memorial. I would prefer a hospital that is supportive of midwifery care and well-equipped for first-time births. I am open to recommendations regarding the best hospital options in the area. 2-I have a valid BC CareCard and am seeking care that is fully covered under the Medical Services Plan (MSP) of British Columbia. At this time, I do not have a separate budget for privately funded services. 3-As this is my first pregnancy, I am aiming for a low-intervention, unmedicated vaginal birth, if possible. My goal is to have a calm and supportive birth experience, with an emphasis on informed decision-making and respectful care. I also plan to breastfeed and would appreciate guidance and support throughout both the prenatal and postpartum periods.

I am giving birth in Surrey memorial hospital and I can only give 50 dollars per day 😊,it's my budget and I need doula for day only 2 hours in morning and 2 hours for evening .and I want to give birth naturally .

I really have no idea of how far i am now. I just estimated it. I don’t think my LMP matches my pregnancy weeks. I’m getting worried and i don’t have family doctor. Thank you.
