Hello, my name is Taylor LaForm and I am a certifying birth and postpartum doula! I am located in Hamilton Ontario. I see birth as a private intimate bodily process, that's process needs to be protected. I believe any birthing person can have a birth they love with the right support and guidance. I also believe every family needs and deserves care, love, support during their postpartum experience. I am here to provide unconditional support to your family! When I am not working on my doula buissnes I am working as a nanny, between this and the fact that I am still certifying I am able to offer doula services for low prices! Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Support for young parents

This package is available for birthing people under the age of 25. This package will include as many prepartum visits you want but is maxed at one per week before the birth. This package will include labour and birth support as well as postpartum. During labour I will be there at any point you want me there to provide support. After baby arrives postpartum support will start right away and again you get as many postpartum visits as you want capped at once a week for 8 weeks after baby is born. If the price is a little to tight for you I am happy to work with you however you need.

Labour and postpartum support

This package is available to anyone expecting and includes as many prepartum and postpartum visit as you want but is capped at once a week (visits can be added with hourly pay). This package includes labour and birth support whenever you need. Postpartum support ends at 8 weeks unless you want to add some visits. I am more then happy to work on the price with any family who might need it.

What to expect

As a birth and postpartum doula I understand everyone needs to be supported differently and doula support won't look the same for anyone but here's what I usually do; Prepartum Education, support, emotional support, help with resources, exercises, support with difficult conversations, birth preferences,... And anything you might find useful before baby comes. During labour and birth Physical support (counter pressure, massage, TENS machine, etc), emotional support, translation of "doctor talk", extra pair of eyes, support for the birthing partner, guides,... And anything else that will be useful to you during labour and birth. Postpartum Household tasks, support, education, night time support, breastfeeding support, debriefing birth, newborn care,... And anything else that might be useful to your family postpartum.
