I've had a some trauma with needles and medical care when I lived in Haiti and got typhoid: makes me reluctant to get epidural but open to it if my headspace is bad. We would like this birth to be as positive and as natural as possible with little to no intervention, but understand hospital transfers do happen and that’s perfectly ok.
